School Curriculum
The School delivers a broad curriculum in line with Government requirements for primary education. The National Curriculum is built around the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and Information Technology and the foundation subjects of Geography, History, Music, Physical Education, Art and Design Technology. The National Literacy and Numeracy strategies are incorporated throughout the curriculum. Religious Education is based upon the Oxfordshire Agreed Syllabus.

For the Academic Year September 2008 - July 2009 the school will be organised as follows:

Children currently have 23.5 hours of teaching each week.

Children are monitored and assessed at all stages of the Curriculum, from their Foundation Stage Profile, through to National SATS tests which currently take place at 7 and 11 years of age. Individual reports are sent home annually; termly teacher/parent meetings are held.

We have a dedicated ICT suite within school, providing 17 XP computers. In addition we have 2 PC's for the Library and Special needs and PC's in every classroom. All the computers are fully internet connected and served by a network. We have an interactive whiteboard in every classroom with FS2 whiteboard installed in April 2008. The whiteboards are used enthusiastically and effectively by pupils and staff.
