Religious Education
As a Church Aided School, Religious Education is the responsibility of the governing body who have taken note of both the Revised Oxfordshire Agreed Syllabus 1999 and advice from the Diocesan Board of Education.

The teaching of Religious Education follows the Oxford Agreed Syllabus.  This reflects mainly Christian traditions whilst recognising the importance of other faiths.  RE is approached through stories and important festivals in the calendar and seeks to foster personal development as children learn more about themselves and others.

Collective Worship
As a Church of England school we are committed to giving children the opportunity to experience Christian Worship. Worship is part of the daily life of the School, from whole school assemblies to moments of reflection in the classroom.  The Vicar regularly leads assemblies and, at least once a term, the whole School worships in the local parish church.

As a Church of England school, we expect all children to participate in collective worship but recognise the right of parents to withdraw their child following discussions with the Headteacher.
